Biography:

Photographer Lee Ross

Known as “Rosspilot”, Lee Ross has been flying for more than 30 years. He has established himself as a specialist in acquiring images from his small single-engine airplane, and his work can be found hanging on walls in almost every country in the world and in every corner of the United States.

Ross began selling his photographs in Soho, where he continues to display them on weekends. His images have been published in Europe and the United States, most recently by the Hoboken Historical Museum in their newest book, “On The Waterfront-the Great Ships of Hoboken” (ISBN# 0-9768525).

Other books include:

“Great Cities Through the Ages-New York” (Mcrae Books of Florence, Italy)

“Memories and Traditions-the Real West Point Story” (ISBN#0-9718271-0-9)

“Rockland Reflections”, a collection of photographs selected by the New City Public Library and on permanent display there documenting the growth of the County where Ross resides.

Ross is National Vice-President of the Professional Aerial Photographer’s Association, International and has served on the Board of Directors for the last 3 years. Last February, he was awarded the designation, “Master Aerial Photographer”. In 2002, his image, “Tribute” was awarded “Best Technical Achievement” by his colleagues in the Aerial Pro International Forum.

Ross has earned 3 Blue Ribbons and 5 Red Ribbons in International print competitions.

He has participated in the following juried art shows:
